Whether you are a new mom or mom-to-be, this is the time when your health and well-being are crucial. Keeping fit, strong and developing healthy habits will not only help you throughout your pregnancy, but give you the energy and strength you will need when baby comes home. Research has shown that regular exercise pre and post natal helps to elevate your mood, increases strength and stamina for delivery, helps control weight gain, improves your posture and core strength, relieves the aches and pain associated with pregnancy and helps you recover faster so you can enjoy time spent with baby. Because every pregnancy is different, your program will be custom made to suit your needs, lifestyle and goals. Programs can be done in-home or in studio. Mom & Baby Bootcamp
Shedding some post-baby pounds seems to be at the top of a lot of moms 'to do' lists. Finding the time to get to the gym is another story. Mom & Baby Bootcamp will help you lose inches, burn calories and best of all...you get to bring your little one with you. Spend some quality time with your baby while getting fit with other moms just like you. This class is great for all levels because you go at your own pace while you build muscle, lose weight and strengthen the core. Suitable for moms and babies 6 weeks postpartum and up. Classes are an hour long and will take place in local parks in the Durham region.
What to bring: stroller with brakes, water, towel or mat, snack. If your baby is little, consider bringing a baby Bjorn in addition to your stroller, just in case your child wants to be close to Mom that day. Plus you get the added resistance weight from your little one!
